What is included

The cross
bar that comes with TS-Aligner Jr. Lite is exactly the
same as the one that comes with TS-Aligner Jr. It is made
from custom aluminum extrusion, eight inches long, and
has a red anodized finish.

The dial
indicator used for TS-Aligner Jr. Lite is a necessary option.
Customers can use their own or choose from a wide variety of instruments
at every quality level. The Stylus Offset Bar attaches to the
plunger on the dial indicator and enables measurements
very close to the table surface (see below).

Angle
measurements are performed using the Angle
Attachment Gage.
This device fits over the stem of the dial indicator.
Accuracy of angle measurements can be within 0.057
degrees using simple Trigonometry. A Tangent table is
included to convert dial indicator readings into degrees.
Calibration requires a flat surface and a precision
ground 45 degree steel angle block. The procedure is
covered in the User's Guide and the Video. Units ordered with a dial
indicator come
from the factory pre-calibrated.
Comparison
of standard features:
This
section compares the features and functionality of
TS-Aligner Jr. Lite with the TS-Aligner Jr.

Offset
Bar
This feature allows measurements to be made very close to
the table surface (about 1/4"), enhancing the
accuracy of blade alignment and making precise
adjustments to the miter gauge much easier. Both products
(Deluxe and Lite) have an Offset Bar.

Base
TS-Aligner Jr. includes a precision machined Base with a
unique three bearing system for miter slot guidance. It
can be adjusted to fit any slot from 5/8" to
7/8", providing a play free fit that is extremely
accurate and smooth. TS-Aligner Jr. Lite does not come
with a base or any miter slot guidance. It is intended to
be used with a miter gauge. The optional upgrade kit can
be purchased separately for $69.98 It comes with the
base, upright bar, and spindle rod.

Spindle
Rod and Upright Bar
The Spindle rod is used to make measurements and
adjustments to machines with spindle chucks. To do this,
the cross bar is removed from the base and attached to
the cutout on the spindle rod. The Upright Bar allows the
dial indicator to be mounted vertically so that it can be
used as a height gage. TS-Aligner Jr. Lite does not
include the Spindle Rod or the Upright Bar. These are
included in the Upgrade Kit ($69.98)

Height
gage functions
Using the Upright Bar, TS-Aligner Jr. can be easily
configured as a height gage. The dial indicator can
easily positioned anywhere along it's five inch length.
This allows the dial indicator to be used to measure
objects with a height of more than one inch (full travel
of the dial indicator). TS-Aligner Jr. Lite does not
include the upright bar. This is included in the optional
Upgrade Kit ($69.98).

Custom
Storage Case
This polystyrene storage
case with a custom die cut foam interior is an optional accessory
($40.35) for both TS-Aligner Jr. and TS-Aligner Jr. Lite.
Video
The video helps to give you a quick understanding of
TS-Aligner Jr. and how it is used to align machinery. The
video included with TS-Aligner Jr. Lite is the exact same video that is
included with TS-Aligner Jr. Deluxe.
