Our shop always has multiple projects underway. Priority is based on need, income, and variety. Though casework-cabinetry is what we do most, we also design and make a fair amount of smaller projects such as jewelry boxes, toys, jigsaw puzzles, fret work, and similar stuff. We accept commissioned orders from contractors, orders from friends, among our own projects. We have literally, an endless stream of projects.

Jewelry Box

Made the box of oak, it measures 9" x 12" x 4-1/2" deep. The lid is a simple frame and panel design. Made mouldings for the feet. The interior is partitioned into six compartments and includes a partitioned sliding box. I finished the box with 3 coats of varnish and paste wax and sprayed the interior bottom with suede-tex.

Armoire

We finished two armoires recently.  They were very simple to build. And since we configured/built them as two pieces (top and bottom), they are easy to move. The drawers provide ample storage. Due to cost constraints, the drawer sides were machined from MDF or Plywood. Not my favorite choices, but they seemed to have held up very well.

They are finished with four coats of a 50/50 mix of Polyurethene and Naptha that we rubbed on. The finish has a moderate sheen and great depth.
