I have been making furniture since 2002 (mostly Mission style) when I bought a table saw to install modeling.  As my interest in the woodworking hobby increased, so did my tool collection.

I usually do not stain my pieces, but rather buy the species of wood that naturally contain the color I am looking for.

This is the dresser completed with several coats of tung oil finish.

The two top drawer fronts and the two second row drawer fronts were cut from the same board so that the grain would flow from one drawer front into the next.

This is the second stage of a two part glue-up of the main dresser assembly.

The walnut drawer fronts were attached to the maple sides with dovetails.

The dresser measures 51 3/4" tall, 42 1/2" wide and 21" deep.

Another piece that was inspired by Stickley, a walnut bed.

The bed was finished with several coats of tung oil finish.

The 'almost' finished bed in my woodshop.

In order for all of the slats to fit perfectly in between the top and bottom rails, a perfect 90 degree cut was critical.  This is where my TS-aligner Jr. was worth it's weight in gold.
